DJ Ktone is recognized and respected in the Denver, CO Jefferson City, MO and St. Louis, MO hip-hop arena’s for his creative mixing skills and dramatic flare with the turntables. He brings a unique style of spinning and crowd-pleasing beats to all events and activities that he is involved with.

Ktone graduated from Lincoln University located in Jefferson City, Missouri in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at Lincoln, he worked at KJLU 88.9FM, the campus radio station for 5 years. During his stay at KJLU, he was honored by the Black College Radio Conference as a finalist for On-Air Personality of the Year for 2002 and 2003. KJLU also was honored as the Black College Radio Station of the Year in 2003, thanks in large part to Ktone’s presence. In addition, he interned at St. Louis’s top hip-hop station, Q95.5FM during the summer of 2002 producing spots for local events with live broadcast feeds, street hits and concerts including assisting with studio production of commercials and liners.

During his time at Lincoln University, Ktone served as an Atlantic Records Urban College Marketing Representative, his duties included marketing Atlantic Records artists to the Lincoln students as well as the Mid-Missouri area. He assisted Atlantic Records by creating and building brand loyalty for its subsidiaries and marketing partners along with developing and executing a marketing plan directed at the college and local level.

Ktone had an outstanding reputation on the Lincoln campus and around Jefferson City for his on-air style and outgoing personality. When not at the station, he could be found participating as a reporter/editor with Lincoln’s television show “LU Vision” and developing and promoting campus activities as Director of Public Relations with the Campus Activity Board. His outreach transformed “Lincoln’s Spring Fest” and “Homecoming” to the most attended campus events.

In addition, to taking classes and working at the radio station, Ktone expressed his entrepreneurial spirit by creating “Still Livin Entertainment” (SLE) a company aimed at DJ and promotional services. DJ Ktone and SLE have forged a stupendous reputation by producing a high quality product and providing professional service for each Djing performance. Since SLE’s commencement in 2002, music enthusiast in Denver, Jefferson City, St. Louis, Kansas City, Missouri and Atlanta, Georgia has heard Ktone’s innovative style.
